Bead Peeps Swap N Hop 2015 The Big Day .......

This is my  first Bead Peeps  Swap N Hop and today I will reveal the jewelry I designed with the beads that my swap partner Marianne Baxter send me all the way from California. I  would love to visit California  its in my bucket list  for next year hopefully .Marianne is  a glass artist and is working on a new line made of PMC and glass . She uses a torch and loves to work with glass  because it changes so much before the final piece comes out of the kiln she said and I am  the opposite I am afraid of using a torch but it's on my bucket list of things to do for this year also . She does lots of volunteer work and I do also so we have lots in common. She lives in the West coast I live in the East coast. She said that she is usually so over the place and me also another common thing we have ,ha,ha.  Marianne sent me a lot of  great beads  plus lots  extra beads that she wanted to detach  so she  donated  some beads  to  my senior students at a center where I work  .I made several extra pieces of  jewelry and  they will be sold at the senior center and the money made will be used for beads and supplies that are very much needed.at the center. I also gave several seniors beads to create whatever they wanted and they  made some very special pieces  that they will get to keep .I work with a very special group of ladies .They are very greatfull for the her donation of beads .I wish we had more people like her . I made my jewelry pieces this week and at one point I did not think I could make the deadline .It has been a very ,very ,busy month lots of great things are happening ,4 of my designs will be in Jewelry Affaire July issue  magazine plus I will be doing several workshops and two of my mixed media works will be in an gallery exhibition  plus this hop .

  1. Beautiful pieces Elsie! The purple and green color palette works well with the gold-tone chain. I also like how you finished the pretty memory wire bracelet with the toggle clasp.

  23. I love multiple chains but never thought of using chunky chains like in the first necklace - they look amazing and the length of the focal balances them, even though it is smaller and the dangles are dainty! I like all your designs, there is something to learn from in each one! The items made by your students are pretty cool, I especially like the black and silver color necklace and earring set!

  24. The Coach Replica Handbags swiss Swagger Chanel Replica swiss Satchel is Replica Handbags UK featured in Metallic Blue, but you can choose the warm tone version of Cherry Red, Replica Handbags swiss which is just as striking in its elegant metallic finish. This satchel appears way more expensive than its retail value of $450. The Swagger is also available in so many other material options, such as pebbled leather and patchwork.
