My designs for the 8th Anual Bead Soup Blog Party 2014

    

Finally the day has arrived The 8th Bead Soup Blog Party 2014.Thank You Lori Mc Daniel Anderson for making it possible. This year my bead partner is Donna Conklin. owner of The Mandrel in Harbor City ,California you can view some of her work at or you can visit  http://primadonnabeads.com/  . .Donna send me some of her beautiful handmade glass beads which gave me a chance to push my creative boundaries.  To my designs I added chains, leather, charms and some of my semi- precious beads .I love to play with different techniques and materials if we don't experiment then we are not looking for other possibilities .



          

This Big and Bold piece has energy  and intensity. Big glass pendant and blue and purple glass beads made by Donna .

Knotted pearls on silk cord with a big wired wrapped pendant. and some  small mother of pearls.

  40. All three of your pieces definitely make a statement. I especially like the first two. The fringe and accents in the first one have a gypsy vibe to me somehow and the trickling raindrops you created in the second one are so very cool and unique. Exceptional job.

  46. Hi Elise, You really spotlighted that beautiful lampworked focal in the first necklace. I like your second necklace the best. It is very pretty and the neutral color would go with almost any clothing color. Great job wire wrapping the pendant in your third necklace.

  47. Seriously can't decided which one is my favorite! that first one has awesome dangles, and highlights the focal so well. The second one has such unique dangles - the zigzag just catches my eye, and the wirewrapping is awesome. And that third one.....love it. Such a great job.
